2. Living Meditation with Margaret
Meditation
is both a journey and a way of life
Private and / or
group customised sessions and workshops are offered. They are a combination of
discussions, energy work, meditations, and question and answer periods. The
participant’s learn to go within to get in touch with their “feeling
bodies”, to connect with their inner wisdom and strength, and to find inner
peace and quiet.
Workshops at
The Ranch Retreat are normally offered over a two day period (shorter and
longer sessions are available). The relaxed pace allows participant’s time
to integrate the energy and information received as well as time to share
with others or to simply go for a quiet walk on the grounds. Participants
are encouraged to “do what is right for them”. Some arrange for us to
prepare a meal while others bring their lunch; some overnight with us while
others choose to commute back and forth to their homes.
Margaret teaches
Living Meditation; a heart based style of meditation that is meant to be
lived in every moment of every day. It is about opening up our heart centre
so that we can connect with our inner truth, our inner guidance and our
inner wisdom. It is about being centred, focused and balanced. It is about
unconditional love - learning to lead from our heart instead of our head
(personality: ego, arrogance, jealousy, attitude, etc.).
The heart centre is
our seat of truth and beingness. This is where we find serenity, peace and
joy. This is Home! There is no place like Home.

“With meditation I have found what it was
that I was missing, what it was that I was looking for all of those
years - myself!”
Margaret

Living
Meditation is a form of spiritual growth that assists us in remembering
the truth of who and what we are. In our natural state we are all
heart-connected; we feel and respond from the heart. We “know” things and
respond appropriately. We love life.
Over the years;
however, parental, peer, societal, and cultural pressures impact heavily
upon us. We forget our “inheritance”, our right to be healthy physically,
mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We become weighed down with
“head” issues (personality). We lose our heart connection.
Living Meditation
workshops teach us how to regain our heart connection, how to put our
personalities to work in supporting our heart felt truths. We learn to
recognise the difference between inner truth and personality issues. We
learn about the feeling body and how to receive the messages it is
constantly sending us. With Margaret’s supportive energy field assisting
us we are able to allow our chakras to open and our energy fields to come
into balance – greatly deepening our experience of the meditation and of
ourselves.
The Workshops, as
well as teaching us how to Meditate, also include a series of mini
presentations on topics such as: mirroring, responsibility, relaxation,
stopping head chatter, feeling body, transformation, receiving,
witnessing, attitude, and heart versus head.

A quiet mind and a
relaxed body enable you to go within to discover yourself. Instead of
relying on others to ”make you feel better” you can do it for your self.
You, and only you, are responsible for creating your feelings, moods and
emotions.

Meditation is more than simply
sitting in silence. It is a way of life; a way of living such that we can
find peace and harmony in all that we do. It is something that we do for
ourselves. It is a heart based journey of personal growth; of seeking and
finding our inner truth.
To meditate we
need to learn how to prepare ourselves, both mentally and physically, to
be able to fully receive that energy that is freely available to us at all
times.
The physical body
is the means by which we interact and communicate with our natural
environment. The body is the vehicle through which we are able to sense
the energy fields that surround us at all times and it is only by being
aware of the messages that our bodies send us that we can respond
appropriately to our environment.
The body has no
preconceived ideas about how to feel - it simply senses what is actually
present. It is important for us to learn how to listen to our bodies
instead of our heads /personalities. Living Meditation teaches us this.
